May Allah Keep this country Safe

In view of the current terrorist activities, I often wonder, what can we do, or we would remain a mere spectator. These lines I read long ago, seem good enough to explain the situation we are in (or rather forced to be in).

Ab kay kuch aaysi saji, mehfil-e-janan janan
Sar ba zano hay koi, sar ba garayban janan
Har koi apni hi awaz say kaanp uthta hay
Har koi apnay hi saay say, harasan janan
Ab tayra zikr bhee shayid hi ghazal mayn aay
Oor say oor hoay, ab durd kay unwan janan

May Allah keep us all in Peace, and make this country strong.

Trust

Trust is what makes your relationship special with someone. The relationships between Friends, Siblings, Parents and child, and of course a couple usually depends heavily on the bond based on the level of trust they enjoy.
How the trust develops between the two is usually depends on the time they share with each other, to me it’s somewhat difficult to tell that how I decide to trust someone or not to trust.
Many at times it’s just in the eyes, I look into someone eyes and decide whether the person can be trusted or not. For instance a beggar, who is pleading to have your attention and still you just ignore him/her and move on, and the other who is just sitting silently on the road side and you decide at your own that its ok to give him/her some charity.
So, the trust is something which comes from inside, though the external factors like I mentioned earlier about the time you share and mental compatibility also plays a vital role.
Especially in the case of friendship, this factor is so very crucial, this is one factor which can make or break friendship, even the persons involve had known each other for so many years.
Well, after writing these lines, I realize that as if I am writing an essay and not a Blog :). Well at times it happens, you get too serious to prove a point that it looks like some chapter from a text book :).

Anyways, you (my dear readers) would be most welcome to add to this topic, and make me feel that I can be a good friend, who can be trusted ;), and also who knows how to trust.

So, I am signing off. Take care of yourselves and people around you. Have a nice evening.

Allah Hafiz

Disturb

I am really disturb for some unexplainable reasons since last evening. Today it’s an off day for me, so I am at home and it’s really not helping. First, I thought of watching few movies, which I recently downloaded, but after few minutes, just stopped watching. Tried the next movie, same thing happened.

I guess it’s basically the inside, which is not feeling good. Add to it the external factors like power crisis in Karachi, though we have a generator at home, but it just adds to frustration especially at night to get up and start the generator, bear the noise, and keep reminding yourself that you have to shut it down also. Oh God. What to do?

So, nothing else to do, I started to write these lines, without thinking about anything specific. Last evening on my way back home, I experience the traffic jam on two sites; it was because of some VIP (or VVIP) movement. It was still hot and humid at that time of the evening (around 7 PM), the van’s air conditioner was also not working properly due to extremely hot conditions, and you can imagine what would I be thinking about that IMPORTANT PERSON, who had made not just me but a lot of others feel like in prison at that time.

Anyways, as they say, ‘Baday baday shehroon mayn yeah chooti chooti batayn hoti reahti hayn’. The best advice given to me by one of our teacher was ‘if you can’t change it, just face it, and move on’.

That’s all for now, and Yes, do help the people in need. They deserve our attention. If you can’t donate anything, at least pray to Almighty for them.

Take care of yourself and people around you.

Bye

12 May

12th May,

The day passed away, and we the people of Karachi (most of us) remained at our homes, watching TV, hoping not to hear any bad news of violence, and Yes our hopes did came true.:)

Well, this is how we are, going through our lives, day on day basis, we create our own fears and foes (Talibans are the prime example), and then let them grow manifold. Now, can anybody explain that why Sindh Government announced holiday? Instead of Judicial enquiry of the events, which took place on 12th May 2007, they announce it "Mourning day". Why?

Can we quote any such example from the rest of the world? I don't think so. We are different, way different from the rest.

May Almighty help us make Pakistan strong and independent. Ameen.

Swat Operation

According to different sources, it is learnt that more than one million people would be leaving swat and surrounding areas in view of the army operation which is being carried out against the extremist groups.

I fully support that these groups should be eradicated at any cost. But Regardless of the outcome and nature of this operation, these are trying times for the sufferers, who had to leave their homes in order to make it to safe places (though we don’t know which place can be considered safe).

The arrangement of camps and resources for the evacuates is not satisfactory. I don’t know why, but I feel that Media, specifically electronic media is not being able to bring the true picture of the sufferings of these innocent people. They are the one who are considered as great hosts when people from all parts of our country visit the northern areas. Now they aer queuing up in camps to find a bowl of food, following is the link to a pic I found in today’s JANG.

http://ejang.jang.com.pk/5-10-2009/pic.asp?picname=01_02.gif

That picture held me for quite a while. I just can’t imagine that people of the country are not aware of what exactly is going on. Media has probably their own limitations because of the situation on ground.

A column by Mr. Irfan Siddiqui is an eye opener for all of us

Please wake up and help the fellow countrymen.

May Allah forgive our sins and make Pakistan strong and independent in true sense, and give us able leadership who is capable of handling challenges in the right way.

 Long Live Pakistan.

 Bye

Happy Mother's Day

Got up at around 10 AM, while having breakfast, watched Nadia Khan Show on GEO and Woo…Its Mother’s Day today. Just one single day, for the person, who we should owe our whole life. I don’t know why at times I feel, we the urban Pakistan people are becoming accustomed to western norms. One day for each important person in our lives.

Do we love them for just one day a year?

Anyways… At least for a single day in a year, We should get out of our rooms, spend some time with her, give her chance to look at us for a while, and just be with her. She waits for us whole day to get home in the evening and still we don’t have time for her, we don’t care for her, take her for granted…. Shameful isn’t it ?.

I don’t know how many times when I felt restless during nights I went up to her and slept beside her bed, there is some sort of indescribable feeling of safety and comfort I found there.

Many at times tears roll in my eyes while watching programs about mother, I think at GEO there was a program titled ‘Maan’, and I saw many famous celebrities broke down in tears, while talking about their mothers.

At times I use to call Ammi as ‘Amman’, though it is often use for mothers but it sounds like ‘Amma’ but in my case I call her ‘Amman’ , a relatively close meaning of this word in English is ‘Amnesty’.J

Talking about mother, one can go on and on. I just pray to Almighty to give her health and courage to fight against the diseases she is suffering from and let me serve her as a humble son.

May all the mothers enjoy good health and their children can have their blessings.

In the end, I wish you all a very happy mother’s day.

Alif Allah

Allah in the name of, The Most Affectionate, the Merciful.

The inspiration of Blog writing came through a very dear friend, and I was thinking about it for the last few weeks.

But Which topic I should start with ?, then I thought, let just go and start with whatever clicks in the mind and the
first thing came into my mind was BISMILLAHIR-RAHMANIR-RAHIM.

Since Childhood, it is imparted in a muslim child that whatever good he/she has to do, Start it with Bismillah, to have Allah's Blessings and His Support in whatever good deed we ought to do.

A Hadith states that "Any important work that does not beign with Bismillah is imperfect".

So, with this and a small prayer (in urdu), which is still not written on paper by me :), I look to start my Blog writing.

Here it goes........

Woh Sharab-e-Kuhan Phir Pila, Saqiya
Kabhi Mujh Ko Mujh Say Mila, Saqiya

Buhut Say Andhayray Tuaqub Mayn Hayn
Sawera Nazar Mayn Jaga, Saqiya

Mayn Hoon Tota Tara Tayray He Falak Ka
Mujhay Mayri Rifat, Ata, Saqiya

Zamanay Kay Sub Rung Pheekay Lagayn
Mujhay Apnay Hi Rung Runga, Saqiya

Tayray Is Zameen-o-Zamanay Ki Khair
Mujhay Bhee Tu Apna Bana, Saqiya

At this note, I end the start of my blogging....Lets see, what comes next.
Baat chul nikil hay, ab daykhayn kahan tuk puhunchay :)

May Allah always shower His blessings upon us.

Bye.
